    STD I – XII

    The grade based evaluation technique framed on a 5 point structure for the primary classes from Std. I to V.

    The Evaluation is always a continuous process and the consolidation for certificate occurs twice in an academic session for the classes VI – XII.

    Curriculum:

    To drive the curriculum forward to all levels of the learners, a healthy and a robust system is in the place. Since the entire methodology is learner centric from acquiring knowledge and skill during their stay in a boarding school atmosphere, continuous efforts are on to make them physically strong, mentally alert, intellectually sharp, emotionally stable and spiritually enlightened.

    Keeping in mind ‘values drives people upright’ a perfect blend of scholastic and co-scholastic activities are aligned. Various co-curricular activities like Art, Music, Dance (Western and Classical), Violin, Guitar, Mirudhangam, keyboard, etc., instill them a sense of confidence in the young minds. Sports such as Cricket, Tennis, Basketball, Badminton, Silambam, Archery, Skating, Chess, Karate, Taekwondo not only strengthens the Physical movements but also ensures a sound Mental attitude.

    We at MVM, have created a perfect blend of intellectual amalgamation in tune with the latest in pedagogy in creating ‘all –rounders’ at all levels.

    CBSE curriculum is followed for Std XI & XII. The Groups offered are as follows:

    Discipline

    • All the pupils should come in the prescribed neat uniform every day during the school hours and to all school functions.
    • Pupils should not come with ornaments or valuable articles to school. They are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings.
    • During school hours parents/guardians are not allowed to see their wards or their teachers in the classroom without the permission of the Principal.
    • Any communication, request or complaint made by the parents/guardians should be addressed only to the Principal and not to the class teacher.
    • Any willful damage caused by the pupil to the building, furniture, apparatus or any other school property is liable to be made good by the parent / guardian.
    • Pupil who is ill for a long period must produce a Medical Certificate.
    • Homework assigned to the pupil by the teachers should be done regularly and parents / guardians are requested to co-operate with the school authorities by checking the homework of their wards.
    • Pupil should be punctual to school and bring the prescribed books according to their timetable.
    • Pupils will be eligible to sit for Examination only if they put in 80% of attendance.
